It is a far cry from his radio interview with Jub-Jub where he said something to the effect of, "does the score really matter when you lose?" To me it came off as he doesn't really care about moral victories or close games. He will play to win when he thinks we can win. He was chuckling at the notion of fans wanting to see atleast some scoring when playing BCS teams ... "obviously are aren't in the North Texas football program" in response to Jub-Jubs saying it does matter.

This game maybe he really thought we could win and he tried, but failed miserably.
