I get amused at troll posters that come on our board and give advice. It makes me wonder if:
he is a season ticket holder
he contributes to his team’s scholarship fund
he actually attends/attended his “school”
he actually buys single game tickets at attends games
he himself contributes to his school’s NIL
or, if he ever posts on his own school site. I wouldn’t know because I don’t troll onto other sites unless we are playing them that week ?
@Cougar King Nah, we would rather defend our mediocre coaching hires, AD, criticize fans (who aren’t as awesomely passionate as us), criticize disloyal players some of us really never gave a 💩 and bitch/moan about how the “system” is unfair.
Meanwhile we can’t in good conscience give extra resources to a program that has NEVER been serious about doing BIG things in football.
A Coach Morris 2025 Mean Green team will be lucky to go 6-6 next year taking a slight step backwards in QB production next year.
The AD will either fire Morris after another near 0.500 season or give him a “lame duck” year for budgetary concerns. Then we will hire Air Raid Coach 3.0 and repeat the cycle.
The outrage is still hypocritical BS anyway you want to slice it. NIL greed didn’t destroy conferences and rivalries. GREED in general did. And the people that run College Football are responsible for balancing the health of the sport over greed. College Football has no real structure except do whatever legal and necessary to get the most revenue. End popular rivalry games for a few extra million dollars from another conference, is no biggie. Walkout of the students who just signed their letters on intent for a 15% raise, no biggie. Programs like Alabama using FCS for fodder while charging full ticket prices, media rights fee for a farce, no biggie. Players getting NIL “Oh my God this is ridiculous it is the END of college football, we need regulation….” For me it isn’t of the waste perceived unfairness or greed that makes the game less enjoyable it is the hypocrisy of the fans.
