Sweetest play of the night

The Emerald Express' TD run down the left side in which he juked the corner out of his socks was just unbelievable.

At that point our defense was playing Tulsa to the wire and our offense looked as if they were going to start clicking but two holding plays later, including the one that brought back the TD and we were done. Still, I can't get that move he made on the corner out of my mind.

Poor PC -- there were so many good runs taken back because of penalties.

He averaged 5.9 yards per carry despite the OL play.

It is hard to run at all when you get hit by the first defender two yards deep in the back field.

Actually, Quinn's diving catch in the 4th stood out for me. Regardless of the score, he was laying out to get that ball. Great catch.

In prder to be successful at all running the ball, you have to throw the ball a little bit.

We hardly ever even tried to throw the ball when we were in it, or even close to being in it.

I know we have young QB's, but you have to attampt to throw the ball. It is the only way to even have a chance.

C'MON Throw the damn ball. Even a little. I don't even have usually have a problem with the play calling, but you have to throw the ball a little. Just to make them think you might do it.

Tonight DD and crew didn;t even let them think for one second we might throw the ball. It was a no go situation

And when you DO throw the ball, please make the primary target be beyond the line of scrimmage! Drives me crazy seeing 1 yard tosses, -2 yard completions, etc.

Interesting to talk with some HS players being recruited as to the perception of UNT. Good and bad. Four years as conference winners and bowl exposure should result in better talent and more depth than appears to be around.
