Are we that bad??? Can we improve enough to get back to expectations? Please tell me!!!

I hope. I don't wanna follow the negative post trend and its hard not to. I know we'll be sitting back in december after another NO bowl loss thinking about how good Dickey is, and that this is the year to turn it around, and Iam just tired of it, 2/15 3rd down conversions is just pitiful.

Yeah, but a lot of those 3rd and 30's b/c of sacks and penalties didn't help us.

Yeah, they can compete. The team has the talent level, the D can fight off both teams, but the coaching has to improve, the OLine and the QB has to get better.

And just as well- I hope TJ's okay. The guy who came in for him was kinda small, and TJ looked really hurt tonight.

The guy who backs him up in a true freshman. He has the talent though ... our DB's are tiny.

NO - we will not beat KSU. Folks, we just lost to Tulsa at home who was 4-8 last season, 52-2.....we basically got shut out. We will NOT win at KSU and frankly will probably get beat pretty bad.

As for LT - who knows. I NEVER would have said that we would get beat tonight like we did.

What is really suprising is the Defense is outscoring the Offense so far this season (9-7). Defense wins championships, but you can't win if you can't put points on the board.

No, i dont think they will win either of those games. Nothing gives me an indication that they will based on performance this year plus Dickey's OOC record.

Yes we can still compete. We need a QB who can throw the deep ball out there to Quinn---and esp. Nwigwe. Quinn can still catch a duck hail mary pass, but the play that we're lacking is the laser throw out to Nwigwe 30-40 yards downfield. We have yet to utilize the speed of our WRs and I think that's b/c the coaches don't have any faith that Meager can get it out there. Hopefully they give someone else a shot (no offense to Meager).

Oh...and it'd be GREAT if a run stuffing DT would suddenly show up to save our interior Dline....

No, we will not compete. Luckily, however, we don't have to worry about those expectations actually being placed on this team.
