Surely on 4th down Nt had seen film on Tulsa using a quick kick instead of a long snap to the punter....we were fooled, not once, but twice with no one back to catch the ball resulting in getting the ball on the one yd line twice...the 3rd time we had a back to catch the ball on the 20....................Question...if we knew this was a possibility why didn't we blitz and block the close to the line of scrimmage kicker?

Cobbs got his 100 yards, thomas must have had less than 10 calls all game...and they were only in there at the same time one time...its like DD has decided this is to be Cobbs year.........with Thomas being held back for the next two years. Is there something wrong with Thomas that we are not aware of? Is he injured?

We don't normally use that, but our regular long snapper was injured last week vs. OU, and while several replacements were tried during the week, they just weren't ready (see the safety for your example).

If they are not going to use him, why not redshirt him????

Damnit, look at Auburn.

Ronnie B. & Cadillac were used on just about every play their jr & sr years. Why can't Dickey incorporate these guys into his offense? Jason Campbell didn't light it up until his senior year, so i refuse to believe it was teh QB play that did for them. mad.gif

One reason: Darrell Dickey isn't and never will be Tommy Tubberville.
