Denton, TX - Patrick Cobbs ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns as the Mean Green roll, 45-10, over the University of Tulsa. Senior RB Uril Parrish scored the Golden Hurricanes' lone touchdown on a 65 yard scamper.

With a 5:12 advantage in TOP, North Texas exploited a porous run defense en route to nearly 300 yards on the ground. Jamario Thomas took 10 carries 91 yards and added a touchdown. QB Daniel Meager also ran for 57 yards, 34 of those coming on a scramble down the home sideline, where Tulsa FS Josh Burris made a touchdown saving tackle.

WR Johnny Quinn averaged 59 yards a touch with a 73 yard punt return and a 45 yard reception, both of which went for touchdowns. Aaron Weathers came away with NT's sole interception and turnover.

The Mean Green defense held Tulsa to 197 total yards, and star TE Garrett Mills to one reception for six yards.
