North Texas Tradition

There has been alot of talk about "stealing" certain tradtions. What can we, as the fans, do to help start a new tradition?

Well............it is usually brought up each year, and this year it might as well be brought up again (only to never be taken seriously by those in power to get it done):

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

(cheerleader does a "through the roof" toss - next step starts when she is caught)

Lets!

Go!

Mean!!

Green!!

Fight! Fight! Fight!!

Seems simple enough...........a graphic on the jumbotron would help.

I know it isn't much of a potential tradition but it could be a great chant that everyone would enjoy participating in.

I think it sounds great. I was taken aback when the Memphis fans did the T-I-G-E-R-S TIGERS chant in new Orleans.

I like to have a tradition of selling out home games.

As far as I know we are the only school that tears down a goal post after winning a conference chamionship (every year). I still think this is lame. The first year was fine, but after that it was unecesary. But hey, it's an original tradition .

I'd just like to know where the signs are that we paid for and gave to the cheerleaders last year at the N.O. Bowl? If they would give them back we could start it all by ourselves on the alumni side.

I think this is a stellar Idea. I like things that aren't started by us, but that we take and run with. Evil Empire of the Sunbelt is a GREAT ONE!

I was too harsh on you guys yesterday. I'm sorry. Thinking about it, only few schools have "unique" traditions. Good luck with whatever you guys decide to do.

Is it too late to order throwbacks for both teams tomorrow night?
