This is the strangest starts to a college football season in a long while:

TCU over OU

SMU over TCU

Ohio over Pitt

Nicholls over LaMo

Iowa State over Iowa

Georgia Tech over Auburn

I have always been a fan of TCU (except when we play them) because that is where my mom went. Its all good though, smooo should get at least one win against TCU every decade. I mean theyve been getting it like tu gets it from uo lately.

man tcu was the most overrated team in d-1 currently, i knew that when they played their old rival they would crumble, if UNT played oklahoma in norman we would have won also...

Coach Dickey's good friend SMU Coach Phil Bennett may have given himself some extended year(s) on the Hilltop. He finally has a significant win. TCU fans have to be sick over that loss.

Not taking anything away from TCU's success in Norman, but I think some of their players may have watched NT's opponent for this Saturday, ie, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane's mild "non win" success on TV yesterday. This probably only proved to many from the TCU Nation that what some of the Horned Frogs (including TCU alum/ex SI sportswriter Dan Jenkins) called their all time greatest victory was probably merely just a win over an average OU team that may remind some of the Sooner faithful of some of their (unsuccessful) Coach Blake teams of the 90's.

We have our work cut out for us against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and I only hope our fans show up en mass and become the 12'th man as to encourage our very young Mean Green team, ie, the 3'rd youngest team in NCAA D1-A according to the MGRN guys.

Lee us see... TCU defeats OU and it did not look like a fluke. then they lose to SMU and it did not look a fluke too much either.

Upsets happen.... Maybe we will have a good day when we play LSU... things happen... despite the pessimism of some on this board.
