We will finally get to see the new font on the helmet ...or will we.  It might be the same font as last season.

Expect to see the new font, same as window decal they are including in with the season ticket packet.

bye, bye script. biggrin.gif

Some of the spirit items being sold at Voertman's and the UNT Bookstore show a helmet with the new block lettering, so I'm guessing we'll be going with that. It will look good because it will match the "Mean Green" lettering on the jersey and the lettering in the endzones at Fouts. I think it has a bolder, more distinct look to it than the script.

i wondered into the bookstore at the union a week or two ago.

I noticed alot of north texas stuff in pink. I think that is the color of our pants this season. Thats what all indications are leaning.

Yes...let's talk about PANTS!!!  That's what college football is all about!!! tongue.gif

Hehehe, at my message board of choice for my other alma mater, any discussion of uniform changes always includes laser beams and jet packs.

I'm content with the pants.

It's all barely a change from the old one. Different letters? Okay, whatever.

I like the new helmets, the logo looks better than the script. The jersey color is the same as last year because they didn't have time to order the new color before they were due to the manufacturer. They will be different next year. I also like the Mean Green on the jerseys, larger and easier to read than the smallish North Texas on them last season.
