New Orlean refugees in Baton Rouge

Just got a phone call from a good buddy of mine in Baton Rouge.

He said the refugee's are fighting, rioting and doing some car jacking in the city and around LSU.

Anybody else heard anything more about this???

Haven't heard anything about riots in Baton Rouge, but things are getting pretty scary in New Orleans.

CNN has been reporting that they're having a hard time evacuating people because of the rioters and men with guns. They were trying to evacuate Charity Hospital in downtown when the doctors and National Guard started getting sniped. That's a really scary situation down there, and I don't think it's going to get any better.

Incidentally, jazz great Fats Domino is missing. He reportedly decided to stay at home in New Orleans with his wife and kids. Their home was in the 9th Ward.

got the information from a good freind of mine who works for one of the major banks around LSU....they are determining right now if they will be able to go to work tomorrow and Saturday.

I am not there but he has always been upfront and honest about things in the past.
