Favorite quote of the article. Really good write-up. Glad to see that he is doing so well. Does anyone know what happened to Spencer? Who is he with?

That's a great article. I'd love to see some of our current defensive players take on that kind of attitude here at North Texas. I'm not saying that we don't have firey players on D (Covington, Graves, etc.), but Kassell was and still apparently is...a mad man.

If every player on our defense had this attitude we'd win a few more games. Even against a team that's more talented, if you can take the heart out of them and make em lay down you can beat them.

Just saw this on the Titan's yahoo website about Cody Spencer:

Aug 30 TitansOnline.com reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said LB Cody Spencer (abdominal strain) underwent tests on his abdominal strain Tuesday, Aug. 30. The results were not immediately known, and Spencer's status for the preseason finale remains undetermined.
