NEW ORLEANS (AFP) - Louisiana State University's American football team called off Monday's practice but still planned to open the season by playing host to North Texas State on Saturday at Baton Rouge.

Apparently LSU also has an Austrailian Rules football team. They had to make sure to distinguinish the two.

And on the "State" reference, I asked Mike Rhyner why he referred to us as state. He said it was to annoy Georgy on the morning show.

Apparently, alot of people want to annoy him dry.gif

That's one of Rhyner's many bits and I honestly think it's funny. Much respect to George for always representing the Mean Green with pride... unlike Craig who is one of those NT alums/Sooner fans. mad.gif
