I really don't envy Les Miles next Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. He's is a no-win situation. He has to try to match North Texas' loss to Texas last year (0-65). The point I'm making here is we went in to last year's game emotionally drained and very sad by the tragic sudden death of our starting quarterback, Andrew Smith. Add to that...our running back was injured and not effective in that game. Texas would finish the season 11-1, including a win over Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

Fast forward to this year. We have back to back National Rushing Champions in our backfield, a veteran offensive line, solid talent on both sides of the ball, and great wide receivers. We have 6 quarterbacks, with Daniel Meager and Matt Phillips both capable of getting the job done. For LSU, the job is stopping us from controlling the clock, and avoiding costly turnovers. The Tigers have their work cut out for them. They should win, but Tennessee throught they would, too, and that was a really banged up North Texas team that beat them in Knoxville.

So, here's to a good game. Enjoy the Mean Green, Les miles. You have a full roster of great players, and a packed house of fans who expect a rout! May happen, but don't count on it!!!! GEAUX MEAN GREEN! CAST A CLOUD OVER DEATH VALLEY!!!!
