Wonder how our first home game sales and season tickets are coming along?

Are they selling tickets to people that want to be at the game, or are they giving away tickets to people that don't really care about the game.

One of those is a solid strategy, and I bet Tulsa is doing it right. Are we.

Oh well, bring on the high school band nights, exploited orphans nights, and disinterested kids with pulse nights.

Which demonstates:::: If we had high-profile teams coming into Denton... selling tickets would not be a problem....There are a lot more people in this area than in Tulsa.

New Mexico State has all but sold out its game with UTEP (no biggie since they are neighbors and UTEP travels damn well); and the NMSU Aggies also (GET THIS SHORTY) have a home game in Las Cruces vs the PAC 10 Cal Golden Bears.

If you want bigger name opponents to come to Fouts than we have to demonstrate we can fill the stadium especially for OOC games. The Baylor game two years ago went a long way toward proving we can fill Fouts. However it is VITAL that we have a strong showing for the Tulsa game this year and for bothe the SMU and LA Tech games next season

Hopefully the team will be 1-1 going into the Tulsa game. Since Tulsa is the first home game, its' Family Weekend which is always good for a crowd, and I expect Tulsa to bring a few fans.....I'd be disappointed in any crowd under 20,000. Im going to be optimistic and predict 25k.
