It's easy to play 7 home games when you schedule Indiana State, Sam Houston State, and Florida International as your non-conference games. They have probably the weakest non-conference schedule in Division I-A football.

----Texas Tech is in "scenic" West -Texas and everyone wants to come out here and visit the natural beauty of the area. That is especially true of the area surrounding Lubbock with its flat cotton fields. That is the reason they were able to obtain seven home games.

--On the flip side UT was only able to have 5 home games, because---who would ever want to visit that area?

I think that it is smart to play that many games at home. NT should do the same.

Build fan support, break in a new QB, make some gate monies...

Tech will only play home and away series and people arn't lined up to play in Lubbock....

(evidently about 53K+ love the scenic beauty of West Texas!)
