Speaking of ESPN radio, talking head Brian Taylor got into trouble with the University of North Texas fan message boards when he had the temerity to suggest on Wednesday’s Galloway and Company that the Dallas-Fort Worth area does not have good college football anymore.

After getting read the riot act by the ravenous Mean Green fans, Taylor defended himself on Thursday’s show by saying that he has no desire to come up to Denton to watch Boise State.

Hey, buddy. UNT has not been in the Big West Conference with the Broncos since 2000. The Mean Green don’t play anybody nearly as good as Boise State in the Sun Belt Conference.
