Actually, you left one thing off, Deep, that I would have put as a choice and in keeping with my own tradition, it would have (of course) been a very wordy phrase saying:

"Temporary Home of the Mean Green"

How 'bout the blue and copper star, but instead of "NORTH TEXAS," it says "EAGLES."

I think they should have put North Texas in both endzones and the Talon holding the stacked Mean Green at the 50.

We have it from a very reliable source that the 50 yrd logo will be the swooping eagle. Painted on (rather than cut and pasted like the end zones) with a new stencil recently purchased be the athletic dept. It can be touched-up or repainted or even removed at any time.

That makes sense (the removable logo). I seem to be in the minority, but I'd like to see the eagle head. It's just a little more similar to our previous logo. (I don't count the parrot eagle because I wouldn't even consider that a logo)
