Mavs reboot with Christie, Diop signings

DALLAS - The Mavericks' bleak week is about to turn a little brighter.

The Mavs have scheduled a news conference at 10:30 this morning at American Airlines Center to announce the signing of swingman Doug Christie and center DeSagana Diop to free-agent contracts. Those two signings will complete a five-day whirlwind that included waiving veteran swingman Michael Finley, who cleared waivers Thursday.

Christie and Diop arent the best additions this team has made today....

By Signing Doug Christie we also recieved rights to his wife Jackie and her purse slinging, bus following, female doctor hating, and just overly annoying persona. She will add depth to the bench of the mavs this next season...well depth is the wrong word, since she will probably request to sit in Doug's Lap on the bench. I can't wait for avery in his high pitched voice "DOUG....Stop giving your wife a pedicure and go make a shot and point in the air so she doesnt forget you love her"....I give him props for being so commited...but its ridiculous!!!
