Man, wouldn't it be nice to land this kid? Great size, potential, and, BONUS, he doesn't seem to get injured!!!

This was mentioned on Sports Center last night. They said he wanted to go to USC since he is from Southern California.

doubt he will get much playing time at USC either, didnt they just land a big time QB recruit?

This doesn't surprise me, I had heard for months now from my buddy who goes to OU that Tommy Grady was probably going to transfer. I think he was a top 5 QB in his recruiting class that just went into a situation where he wasn't going to win the starting job. I would be surprised if he went to USC since after Leinart this year, they have John David Booty and Mark Sanchez waiting in wing. Last OU QB to transfer out of OU was Noah Allen and he ended up at SHSU, but I would expect Grady to end up at another D-IA school.

Oklahoma channel 9 news reported tonight that Tommy Grady wanted to play for a west coast school but did not mention which one. It seems OU still hasn't decided who will quarterback (Romar or Thompson) but Grady was not in the mix.

About the only bright spot for North Texas, if we don't get our QB situation solved this season, is that it might attract more transfers and recruits who could play quicker here.
