Wrapping up my run this morning this guy struck up a conversation while I was waiting for the crosswalk. He asked me if I was from Texas based on my Texas Ranger t-shirt. I stated "yes" and he introduced himself as being from San Antonio. I told him I was from Dallas and he went on to tell me he was a student at the University of North Texas. I laughed and told him I was a graduate - small world.

He graduates in December which almost made me offer him my Training Manager position on the spot. "Take this card and I will see you the first week in January." Love helping out the Green and the labor market is unbelievably tight in this state.

He did not like our chances against LSU, but my optimistic self told him - "Hey, if you can survive Texas 2004 I think I can handle it!"
