I can report rumors from Austin that another reason Mack wanted practices closed is Vince Young is throwing in the dirt. His midrange is phhhhllltttt.

Memories from our UT game from last year are coming back to me.

Some of you green kool-aid drinkers better start preparing for a woodshed beating on 9/3.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I refuse to be heartbroken again like last year.

i want to still be positive and look for the best... but this report has put questions, serious questions about our team. i will definitely be at the 4 PM practice today and i think i need to watch a little more of the highlight DVD to get me pumped up.... i need to blair "thunderstuck" a couple of times. keep up the good work MGR and lets keep on keepin on for LSU and a good season!

These are certainly the dog days. Yes we have many minor injuries but so far none have been serious, thankfully.

I fear more bad news is on the horizon. The last few years this team has seemed snake bit, which makes the accomplishments all the more impressive but also begs the question of where they could be if every head was screwed on straight.

You guys need a shot of tequila or something. There has to be some attitude. You know LSU, they are going to have some animals down there. Our guys have talent; several of them need to show up like animals too. And for Pete's sake those fans who go need some attitude too. Hell, they threw me out of that damn stadium last year in Austin but I came back in.

So let's not go getting all depressed. Sure it's a challenge. You've got to wonder if it's worth it taking this game, but everybody needs to get up and give it their best shot.
