Are you a fan or a family member? If you are a family member(you don't need to reveal who you are). What were the big factors in Steve choosing NT and what does he think so far?

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not a family member, but I do know his family. I got to know him better this summer because we worked out at the same place and he came out to help us with our opening pee wee football practices. He's a great kid and as far as why he chose NT i'm not sure. He wasn't highly recruited partly because of the offence that they ran. He hardly ever had the chance to throw the ball but if he gets out in the open, look out.

Beleive that Memphis is without a QB who's been in a college game.

I read where the Troy U QB has been in only 5 plays in D1-A football. The Trojans other more experienced QB flunked out if all will recall.

I am trying to recall how many plays the great Andrew Smith had been in on before Scott Hall went down. I think most on this board know the answer to that.

I saw in the paper where UT lost three to grades.  It can happen anywhere.  If the kid doesn't want to show up, you can't make him.    No matter how much recourses your school has.  Byerly is not on the team because he chose to be.  Not because the mechanism wasn’t there to help him succeed as a student.

UT lost people to grades? I had a lot of friends down at tu when Cedric Benson was playing, and the word was that he flat out never went to class. If he can pass the classes without going to them..... must not have been any of their "studs."
