If Eric Morris wins a bowl game, will you forgive his past sins?
Nope. A win over a fellow G5 6-6 or 7-5 finisher would be nice, but in the grad scheme of things doesn’t mean much. Would still like to finish with a winning record for a change. Our sights should be to next season already and building a program to challenge Tulane for conference supremacy. Play in the AAC title game next year and then all past sims are forgiven. -

Now, if that bowl win leads to an undefeated streak next season and a playoff spot, then yeah—maybe, just maybe, I’ll consider forgiving the sins of the past. A guy can dream, can’t he?
