I think that list looks pretty good, but i cant help asking,

Can you imagine the non conference games we would have won, or how much closer some those games undoubtedly would have been? I have oft thought of that UT game where our Defense shut down the horns in the second half... if only we had last years offense... sigh

Last year's offense scored 0 against UT.

I don't think Armour played OL while at NT...but good choice anyway.

Armour played O-line from 1995-1998. I believe he started all four years. He also played in the Hula Bowl after his senior season. He signed with the Colts as a free agent and was a reserve lineman for a few years. You may be thinking of Brian Waters who played tight end, fullback, and defensive end before becoming an All-Pro O-lineman for the Chiefs.

I noticed that...did we actually have a player with that name or is that a little snl humor inserted in there?

TO BILL BRASKEY

I believe that it's a bit of SNL humor.

However, the name does sound real close to UNT's all-time great player and coach....Bill Brasher.

I believe that Brasher still holds the season record (10) and career record (19) for INT's at North Texas. He was also the punter on the team for 1950 and 1951 averaging 35.5 and 37.2 yards per punt respectively.

Also, Brasher was probably the best defensive coach that North Texas ever had.

A little SNL in there to see if y'all were paying attention.

I went hunting with Bill Braskey once. He killed 2 500 lb wild boars with his bare hand. You see, his other hand was tied behind his back to make it fair for the boars. He then proceeded to make the tastiest Carolina pulled pork sandwiches I'd ever had right there in the middle of the forest.

Who would win a fight between Bill Brasky and Ditka?

Ditka hands down... haha

side note: met Ditka in Chicago at his bar/restaurant... took a picture with us (he is a fraternity alumn), was a really cool guy. Very intimidating though, and his hands are freaking huge, I thought he was going to crush me

How about Braskey vs. a Hurricane, but the Hurricane's name is Hurricane Braskey

Braskey, unless the Hurricane had Cowbell

How bout mini-Ditkas...driving a bus?

Concerning Basher being the best D coach ever...anyone want to argue for De Loach? I can't say I'm in a position to do that since I know nothing of Basher's coaching days. All I CAN say is that miss DeLoach A LOT.

I agree with what was listed, but really wish we could have 4 linebackers as I think that Hurd should be included. The only thing I disagree with is that I would put Muenchow in at TE rather than Blount though Blount would be a close second. Muenchow was the quiet guy that was so freaking dependable and did so well. Other wise it was really the best roster for post 1998 players.
