Surely its 2005 because I don't think UTEP would have been ranked #31 last year (not sure they should be this year), but there is no year listed on this CFN link.

I think you're right on that one. I think those are last year's final rankings. I haven't seen anyone with a pre-season Top 25 as whacked as this:

#2 Auburn (lost half of their offense)

#3 Utah (new coaching staff and MWC team that doesn't get that kind of pre-season respect)

#6 Louisville (life will be much different in the Big East)

#9 Boise State (see respect comment on Utah)

#16 Tennessee (returns 9 starters on offense and 9 on defense...factor in the respect factor and they are much higher on most polls; TSN ranks the Vols #2)

#18 Ohio State (also returns 9 on O and 9 on D; TSN ranks the Buckeyes #3)

#25 Navy --- well this ranking alone tells me that it's not for the 2005 season. Navy had a great season last year, but those don't happen too often for the Midshipmen; TSN ranks them at #70 for the pre-season.

Regarding the updated time comment; well, now it says

I don't think they would update it every day.
