Flights to MTSU(Nashville)

I can't find a flight cheaper than $317 from Dallas to Nashville. Anyone else having any better luck?

We may be doing the ol' pack-a-rent-a-van trip again.

Last year, American Airlines ran weekend college football special rates for about $150.00 roundtrip. It was always posted just 1-2 weeks ahead of the game and the North Texas games were included then. Maybe they will offer the same packages again this year.

American has a deal right now for short haul flights if you have 15,000 AA miles that you can use. I plan on using it from Nashville to come to the home opener.

Resident airport junkie here...I'm at DFW now. (Sidenote: I was wandering Terminal E tonight and saw a framed #67 North Texas jersey hanging in one of the closed down restaurants, The Varsity Grill, around E31)

NTEagle08 hit the nail on the head. Wright Amendment, baby. If you start in OKC and connect in DFW on the way to BNA (Nashville) it's $297.00 RT. Makes alot of sense, eh? Gotta love good ol' American Airlines....the great Satan of DFW. (We don't like American much around here. Plenty of stories to tell.)

And sorry folks, my airline doesn't serve BNA. But, I will be flying for free on Southwest...

Last time we road tripped it and it was .... uhhh... well, fun for some! This time I will be much better behaved if anyone wants to put a road trip together. I think we had 3 vans last time and pretty much took over the only bar that was open that night in the Murf... Lots and lots of good times.
