was it his throwing shoulder?

Nah...the arm was ripped out of the socket, lacerating most of the tendons, requiring 10 hours of surgery, doubtful he will ever get any feeling back...

BUT...it was NOT his throwing arm, so he will be just fine! wink.gif

I've heard it will be a robotic arm to be designed by the new Engineering Department.

Maybe they'll mount an actual cannon on his shoulder.

As an alumnus of the E-tech department, I'll volunteer as an industry advisor on the project.

yeah, it would have to be... I heard the arm was ripped out in a gang fight and he actually fought off his attackers using his non throwing arm as a club. Anyways, it was a really weird situation. But he should be good for fall.

he should be good for the fall but the arm didn't pass summer school. Not sure how the NCAA is going to rule on this one.

Man, you guys are brutal today? (The rim shot was a nice touch).

Meager is still nursing the shoulder, but is improving. He will be ready to go unless there is a setback. Harry will probably post some info in the Mean Green Report before too long, and he is usually right on top of things. DD usually gives us a "State of the Team" address right after fall workouts begin. We wont get the best info on our QB status until that time.

But just in case, get ready Emmitt...practices start August 8th!!!

Meager has had Scott Bakula's arm implanted into the existing socket. He should be ready to throw by early August. In related news, Patrick Cobbs has had his hair replaced with Sinbad's and Shawn Early will be using Ed Genaro's thumb knuckles, pinky toe, and moustache so we should be just fine.

The mustache alone is worth about 4 tackles per game.

Almost true. It was actually a pack of Polar Bears he fought off with his arm that was ripped out of socket, and it wasn't Meagher it was Bill Brasky.

No way. Brasky killed the polar bears with hornets that he shot out of his eyes. Then he made rocking chairs and fiddles out of the bones and sold them in Times Square. Brasky, he's a sonofabitch.
