Not very often that BOTH rb positions on a publications all-conference team come from the same backfield. Not even USC's RB behind Bush (Lendale White, I think) occupies their all Pac-10 team next to Reggie.

It's kind of weird that they have Ransom as newcomer of the year but yet dont have him on the 1st team defense.

You have to remember Michael Pruitt (who, along with Evan Cardwell would have near legendary status by now if they didnt have the "misfortune" of playing right after Booger) wasn't first string at the start of his first year, but was by the end.

Lineberry was the Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year last season, but was 2nd team all-conference.

Didn't we lose all four DL starters and 3/4 of the DBs? I think that's right. Some young guys, including the three new backers from 2004, will have to step it up to make All Conference.
