Sounds good to me, height and some size, thats what we are in need of at the wr postion. We need someone to be a posseion receiver, thats why everyone is so up on Stickler.

On a more serious note, Bishop was the leading receiver for his high school team San Angelo. When they weren't handing him the ball, they were throwing it to him.

For those of you who have been around awhile, this is reminds me of when Bo Harrison was moved from RB to WR. Let's hope Roy has similar success.

I still remeber that BEAUTIFUL photo of Bo Harrison diving through the air to catch the winning touchdown at Jones Stadium in Lubbock. You could clearly see the Green Brigade members in the background starting to raise their hands anticipating the score.

If anyone has that picture, please post it.

I dont think Bishop was moved. The same thing happened on last years practice roster. I think that list was just updated with new players. He was listed as a WR last year, but still played RB. He is a really good kid, but I would move him to LB. When we hear "fumble recovered by Roy Bishop", it can be a good thing.

He spent all spring at the RB position. And as I recall, he did a good job and got off several good runs. I don't remember if they ever threw the ball to him or not during spring practice.
