Nothing against 2A schools, but can you imagine what that kid is going to do in 2A football!!!

That kid would kill against some of the best 5A programs, but 2A, he will put up records every night out!

not neccesarily,theres a still a 2A o-line(even though prosper might be at 4a standards now)andcelina has 9 returning D starters

theyre still my pick for state champs.

Uh, that's Prosper's newest running back.

Yes, he's going to play for 2AA public school Prosper.

And in a related note, on October 31st, the Great Pumkin is going to rise out of the pumkin patch and deliver toys and candy to all the good little boys and girls of the world.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Now thats funny.... Think Jesuit hasnt already contacted Deion to tell him what a quality Christian education can do for his new adopted son?? Hell for that matter I bet Evangel in Shreveport has already shopped the prices of a daily charter flight from Frisco to Dallas.

Wonder if the UIL is regretting their decision yet?? If this kid played for a private it will prove the UIL wrong before the ink can even dry on the lawbooks.

      State of College Football

      Nobody watches regular season college basketball. When the football Monet dries up how will a nice G5 basketball program generate revenue to stay that way? If you aren't a rabid college basketball fan and really interested in using UNT basketball player's Name Image & Likeness what is a UNT Basketball Player's image worth if he or she isn't on the NBA or WNBA's draft radar? We will never be able to afford to outbid any of the top 25 basketball teams.

      UNT Basketball's Wright Makes Game Winner To Seal 18-Point Comebac

      DENTON — Atin Wright hit a game-winning 3-pointer to cap off an 18-point comeback as the UNT men's basketball team opened American play with a 78-75 victory over reigning league tournament champion UAB at the Super Pit on Tuesday. North Texas (10-3, 1-0) trailed by 18 in the final seconds of the first half and went into the break down 17. Early in the second half, the Mean Green locked in defensively and went on an 11-0 run to chip away at the deficit. Senior Latrell Jossell buried 3-pointer after 3-pointer, finishing with a single game season-high six and ending the game with 20 points, his 10th career 20-point game. With 3:57 left in the game UNT captured its first lead since early in the first half as senior Johnathan Massie finished a layup to put North Texas up 71-69. The game went back and forth from there on out but the final shot belonged to Wright who sank his contested 3-pointer as the clock hit zero. Wright finished with a game-high 22 points and was 11-11 from the free throw line. "It really was a tale of two halves," head coach Ross Hodge said. "We've competed with these guys a lot through the years and it's hard to explain just how physical they drive the basketball and how aggressive they are. We locked in defensively and started grabbing rebounds and getting stops." Next up for UNT will be a trip to No. 21 Memphis on Jan. 5. The Mean Green are aiming for their first road win over a top 25 opponent since 1971.
