Not sure how much of this has been covered; I haven't seen anything about it recently.

The bricks in front of the Administration Building are being laid down, with about 30% complete so far. Incidentally, this area, or at least the area in front of the Willis Library, is to be named the Grace W. Cartwright Plaza.

This is the logo that is going to be used. I'm actually pleased that they're using this one, and not the 'UNT'.

I'll try and have some pics of the new Tennis Center up tomorrow, if anyone is interested in how that is coming along. Turns out there's only enough funding for the 12 outer courts to be built, though they are still saving that space in the middle for the lower court, to be finished whenever more funds become available.

I've seen the Tennis complex, and there's not much to look at right now. They are just moving dirt around. I figure by summer's end things will really be moving forward fast.

On the brick behind the Admin Building, I too am glad they decided to use "North Texas" instead of "U-N-T".

I bet this is the "North Texas" we see on the helmets this fall, stacked minus the logo. Eventually maybe the logo would be added in. It's not the Flying Worm but it could be worse. <_

I'm not sure about that line of the "R" into the "O". I think I'd prefer a Star inside the "O". Is it too late to change that?? blink.gif
