A couple of observations.

- Great that we are getting new turf

- Wonder if La Tech could use our old stuff?

- Fouts still looks lousy

- You could "gold plate" that stadium and it would still look like Fouts

Deep, that sounds a lot like the old "you can put lipstick on a pig" saying.

A friend told me they have also put like a solid green tarp or windscreen over the exterior Fouts fencing (no more non-payers watching games from outside the fence) and closed the stadium so you can't see the new field being put in. Anyone been up there since the tearout was finished?

I was in Denton last Sat...we were able to walk right into the stadium. The northwest corner of the stadium was open. There was actually a couple of workers in there, but noone said anything.

Anyone cut a piece of the field that Back to Back NCAA Rushing Champions ran on?

I did...

Is that dumb?
