HEY DUDE! all the way. Christine Taylor was hot, don't know if she still it. That show was a staple for me everyday afterschool. I loved it!

Since this topic took me so much back into my childhood.........

Did anybody like the movie: The Goonies

I simply loved it. This movie will always be in my collection.

How about Gremlins? Everybody loved Gizmo.

I think I saw the host of Dable Dare hosting  a game show on the History Channel a while back.

I wouldn't count on it... He committed suicide a few years after his run on DD ended. Something about drugs and emotional problems...

I always like Clarissa Explains It All...Melissa Joan Hart pre-Sabrina. And Kids Incorporated was a classic.

"Kids Incorporated....K---I---D---S!"

And by the way, G.I. Joe was the best cartoon period.

"Now I know.....And knowing is half the battle."

Wasn't the chick from the Black Eyed Peas on Kids Incorporated?

Yeah, Stacy Ferguson (Fergie) was on Kids, Inc, 1984-1989. That must be where she gets her street cred or soul or funk or whatever the crap it is people listening to the Black Eyed Peas are looking for.

Picture pages, picture pages, time to get your picture pages

Time to get your crayons and your pencils

You can play with Picture pages,

Fill your day with picture pages,

Till Bill Cosby does another picture page with you!

oh man, this thread is the greatest. Ah, memories

Oh, man...I forgot about that. Was that the little sketch with Mortimer Ichabod Marker?

It's the ultimate showdown of pre-teen Nickelodeon sticoms.

I am 23 now and still remember the words to both show's theme songs.

I give Salute Your Shorts the slight edge, though Hey Dude was not without it's merits.

I'm 25, and I remember the them song to that show. It only lasted two seasons. After season one, the kid who played as Micheal (who also plays in Pleasantville) didn't like doing the show, but the character Telley (who also is in the movie Ghost Ship) needed a counterpart for the show so they brought in Pinsky.

By the way, somone mentioned that Alanis Moirsette was on "You Can't Do that on Television". That person is correct. She was a star on that show that brought the green slime down whenever you said:

"I DON'T KNOW."
