I agree. I think next years team will do just fine. I personally think Hopkins is overrated. I know he's our leading scorer but he attempts way more shots than anyone else on the team. Almost double Watson's attempts. Leonard would be much better if he'd just spot up and shoot rather than attempting to drive in and take those crazy off balance shots.

What I meant was that Hopkins has applied for a redshirt and could play next year.

I think going to the hole is Leonard's strong point. He goes to the line probably more than anyone in the Belt and makes 85% of his free throws.

I think shooting wild-arse three's is his downfall.

You are right. Driving the lane is Leonard's strong point. He either scores or gets to the line most of the time, and even if he misses defenders are usually out of position to block out if they tried to help against Leonard, which makes it much easier for Simpson and others to get an offensive rebound. When Leonard gets hot I want him jacking it up every time he gets the ball, but he is a streaky shooter and he often keeps jacking it up even when he is off. It is those times when he needs to drive the lane because you don't have to be on to make a layup or make a free throw when you are almost automatic like Leonard is. Plus, making some inside shots and some free throws is a great way to gain confidence and often will result in a player shooting better from the outside.
