Who had the best dunk and which one was it?

I think Mitchell had the dunk of the year so far with his slam over the hapless UTPB defender. He rose up and over the poor guy and then reached for the back of the rim for the dunk and foul. Since MM isn't the biggest guy, and did this over another player, I think it was better than the dunks Simpson had.

Simpson did have some dandies though, and if you are a fan of powerful dunks, then his may be your favorite. It was shades of ShoJo.

Harris had a dunk or two at the end and I thought I would include him in case his girl wanted to vote for him or something, but it is really down to the other two IMHO.

There may have been another dunk I missed (traffic was a pain and I missed the first minute or so), so I included the "other option".

Let's hear it, which Valentine's Day slam was the best (and there were many to choose from).

Were u at the game tony?.... Cause MM dunk was sick...not matter who it was on....it coulda been over me at halftime and still ranked up there with one of the sickest of the season...which i still think was Hopkins when he took off outside the block and proved his knee didn't hurt anymore!

Of course not, the games are so boring! You know that they sell tickets at a table at every door?! That automatically makes the game boring and unwatchable!

The kind of comments that don't win fans.

The guy was saying our dunks didn't count because they were against a NAIA school. In another thread he said the games were boring and the only reasons he gave to back up his statement was that we sold tickets at tables and the band played fly like an eagle too much. I'm sorry for not patting him on the back for running the team down.

e-bone,

the only thing I can do is point at attendance numbers. something I have said over and over again is that there is a reason people don't come out to games, besides the team.

You're right, there are many reasons. The near complete lack of promotion is the biggest reason, and the large number of people who consider themselves big NT athletics supporters that aren't doing what they can when they can when it comes to anything non football related is another big reason. One would think that it would be those people who would understand the necessity of supporting the basketball teams, but that obviously is not the case. As I have said before, there aren't enough supporters of NT athletics to have people specializing in one sport.
