NT Softball loses

"Amanda Scarborough threw a no-hitter and Jana James went foru-for-four as they led the Aggies to an 8-0 run-rule win over North Texas in front of 705 fans at the Aggie Softball Complex."

400 of those in attendance were students that constantly screamed at Katy Maxey, by name, from the time she took the mound. They also screamed and taunted her even as she was batting. Katy remained poised as well as all of the Mean green softball team. Although, their performance was not their best they represented North Texas with class. I hope that the student body will come out in force for North Texas' first home game and show them the support they deserve.

I see on the schedule we play some good teams at home this season: Okla. St., OU, Baylor. It will be nice when we finally get a permanent home field to be able to have a true home-field advantage against some of these power programs like they do to us on the road.
