Pit Crew???

Just wondering if the Pit Crew is JUST for the men's games or what? I have been to a few games this season, and of those I see maybe 3-4 people in that "pit crew area!?!"

We are trying to get more people to the girls game...the last one was cause alot of people were already having test on friday....We are trying to get people out both sides....

I plan on being there for the game this Saturday. However, weekday games are much more difficult for me to make.

There were three tonight, including one in a Pit Crew shirt. They won the whatever-it-is...raffle I guess....that earns them spots on the couch, and Talons did the halftime game. There were 18 Talons tonight, 20 Thursday.

How long has Talons been around? How much funding do you get? How many actives are there in Talons??? And where were they in the first half of the season....I am not trying to start a Talon/Pit Crew argument or anything...But it is hard to start from scratch and get people interested in going to some of the games....no offense to the women, but the excitement level is way down this year...they are winning but it isn't an exciting game to watch...I woulda been there tonight had it not been for work....Hope you know we are friends and all but dont try to make us sound like nothing because there weren't alot of us there....We are trying...As i recall we outnumbered the talons by quite a few last season....

Dont knock us we are trying to start something here....

I think the major problem is that...in order to be a pit crew member all u do is buy a shirt and show up...no points, no nothing, no requirements.... So people just come when they can and in my opinion do a damn good job of yelling and getting on the other team like we stated we would do to the athletic department....So its hard to "require" attendance and "force" people to show up

Justin, don't worry, I'm not trying to start anything, ok? Ya'll are doing a great job at the men's game, admittedly better than Talons in several ways, and especially for a first year organization. Ya'll contribute a lot to the game and we're all grateful for it. You know if I didn't believe that, I wouldn't spend part of almost every game over there, then get flak from Talons for doing so. I wasn't trying to put ya'll down, I just wanted to put in a good word for Talons since we have gotten some flak before. I've seen posts in the past when we don't have great turnouts, but fewer-no posts when we do have great turnouts like we have lately.

I've noticed that there have been more Talons at games lately, and I think that is great. I just hope that many continue to show up even after they meet their requirements for game attendence for the new semester.

I will admit ya'll have shown us up at the girls game...I am trying my damndest to get people to those girls games but i keep hearing the same excuse of the games just not being that fun this year....So we'll see....I do know one thing for sure though....even if it isn't the popular thing to do the two orgs. need to work together and get something huge for this tourney coming up.....The AD is talking to us already about something and we need some other orgs....

I think the games aren't as "exciting" b/c of the attendance....when there are more people the games seem to be better! For example, the UT game this year...the place was packed! It makes the girls even more fired up too....
