Tex Aggies' easy schedule not as laughable

Everyone said "Big Deal" because of their record beause they had not played anyone? But they nearly knocked off #2 Kansas last week and defeated #10 Texas tonight 74-63 on FoxSW.

Anytime the horns lose it's worth mentioning.

They sure did whoop us badly a month ago in Austin. Granted with teams that come off bad seasons and then play a easy schedule to start the season, it is hard to make a full judgement about the team and if they are for real or not. But now that they are starting to play some difficult games, and playing very well, they are showing that they are for real. I think they played their cards right with playing the easy teams to build their confidence. Only downside about their non-conference schedule is that it definately does hurt their RPI, which could be a factor to them getting into the tourny in March if they are in the middle of the pack in the Big XII at the end of the season.

Yep, A&M will have to keep winning big to make the NCAA's. It was scheduling for success, and probably a good idea. But that schedule isn't gonna impress the selection committe. They're gonna have to compete in the Big XII.
