Howerton update from 1/4 game

Howe 71, Blue Ridge 48

HOWE - Collin Mangrum and Kevin Brooks both scored a season high 26 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 71-48 win over Blue Ridge.

Justin Howerton, the Bulldogs' leading scorer, was held to six points. It's the second straight game the senior has finished with less than 10 points.

Sounds like Blue Ridge were going to make the other guys on Howe beat them, which they did.

After watching Howerton and his supporting cast a few times, I cannot imagine them scoring 65 in one game. They did have one guy that could shool alright, so I guess he is one that scored 26, but I have no clue who the other one could be...maybe they got someone back from grades at the semester? At any rate, I have zero doubt that Howerton was double if not triple teamed the second he stepped out of the locker room. I would still like to see more than 6 points, though.
