North Texas vs. Tennessee-Martin

UT-Martin is picked to finish 7th (3 spots ahead of SEMO who the Mean Green defeated earlier this month) in the Ohio Valley Conference. The OVC is ranked 20th, the Sun Belt is 18th. This is using the Sporting News preseason rankings.

Things to listen for:

1) First of all, the Mean Green MUST shoot the ball better today. We have to come out of this slump soon.

2) Calvin Watson and Mike Jones cannot continue to fall into foul trouble. We need the offense they both provide, and when they are both in foul trouble and not an option for extended periods of time, it hurts the team.

3) Quincy Williams has been playing well since Barnett's injury, and every game that goes by he gets more experience. A good game from him is a big help toward a win, and he will be coming off an eye injury from last night that required "several" stitches.

4) The Mean Green need to gain some momentum going into the first few Sun Belt games on the road.

*At halftime we lead 43-38, and Watson who was scoreless last night, has 16 in the first half. I'm going to the Whataburger Tourney and am going to listen to the second half on my pocket radio, so I won't be in the chat.
