I was engaged in a debate at the office with "Joe apathetic NT alum" and asked why he didn't get more excited about all that's happening at NT. His response was "He didn't like the way we sold out all other programs to advance football" After picking up my chin I told him about how we were soon going to be the only title IX compliant school in TX etc. and his rebuttle was the fact we took scholarships away from girls/other sports to offer to football athletes. I continued to defend RV et al but didn't have any specific scholarship numbers etc. Does anybody have a source that gives a break down of scholarships offered and any changes from previous years?

I've won over 3 former apathetic alums in my office and just need some help on this one! Thanks.

Stephen, amazingly enough, consistent winning at UNT will be your (and all of our's) greatest ally at all our offices in the Metroplex where numerous UNT's are employed. My own has a couple as well.

The Metroplex sports fan has a "winner's town" mentality and the jump on the band wagon affect at UNT once we start winning again will IMHO surprise many; especially the thousands of NT students who went "down the corridor of years" in Denton without ever having seen a winning football team. (You'll have to remember that 1994 was the last time Mean Green football recorded a season with more wins than losses).

Stephen, if you can email your phone or cell phone number to me or just call me at my Hurst office with the number I emailed you last night, I want to make arrangements with you to just hand deliver your new 2002 UNT Mean Green Football Media Guide. The prize you get because you were our 45'th Kids Korner pledger! I think that would be quicker than the US Postal Service to be quite honest. Thanks...
