Mavericks get it right!

The Mavericks broke out new uniforms tonight, going back to an old color, one they never should have strayed from....GREEN!

These are tight, I love the green with the blue stripe. The extra white and black trim is a little much for me, but that's being picky.

They won by the way, 103-101.

Also, even if the play is ugly, the Cowboys will look great on Thursday when I get to see them play the Bears.

Those are in the top 5 football jerseys I have ever seen. Clean, classic, and sharp. They will also wear the white helmets with the blue star, a throwback.

I like the green, but I wish that they still just had the old logo. The new one is too generic and looks too much like everyone else's logo.

Making it to game 6 of the West (at the time the "real") Finals and a Dirk injury/Steve Kerr going nuts from a game 7 doesn't count as good? They only did better one time in the 80's, going to a 7th game against L.A.

I don't like them. I do like the Green and Blue, which they never should have left. but those just dont look right. They may not be so bad except for the wierd script.

Why do the Cowboys keep experimenting with an alternate jersey. Some teams should NEVER change their unis.

Cowboys, Lakers, Yankees, Red Sox, Red Wings.

Sometimes you can't make a uni any better.

They are just wearing those for Thanksgiving and they are very similar and patterned after the throwback jerseys. They are also wearing the throwback white helmets, so I don't think they are looking for an alternate jersey, it's just a Thanksgiving thing. I think you will love how they look on TV.

I don't like the script on the Mavs jersey either, but I can look past that because I am so partial to green.

ICoach, was under the impression that you were glad the Mavs left the classic Green and Blue look? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

I can see the argument, that the old jerseys had served their time, but I think they should have stayed with the green and blue, and maybe doctored up the logo.

We'll see on the boys jerseys, I'm just not a fan of the white helmets.

No, I was kinda upset they went to a logo and color scheme just like every other team's. The green was awesome, but they had been moving away from it for years anyway. Every time I play with the Mavs on NBA Live, I wear the green throwbacks.

When I heard the unis were designed by P.Diddy...I was a little worried...but they turned out to be freakin' sweet. Good stuff.

I loved the way the colors stood out on those jerseys. The road uni's now look like they're almost black on tv.

I agree, the green should come back, i have no idea why we abandoned that, and switched it to blue and white, STUPID!

but the jerseys were horrible, green, blue, white, together?

The Font was decent

but if they're gonna be throwbacks, put on throwbacks, don't try to mix the new and old together

They were bag than the garbage bags we wore on opening night last year, but not by much.

They broke out the old school green uniforms last night, and played awesome. These are the best Mavs unis ever.
