Wow - game sounds like a track meet

I just heard us throw the ball off the glass for an oop. Crazy stuff. I understand this may not be the best competition, but it sounds like our guys are completly having their way.

Please, anybody that was there tell everything you can.

Yep, Hank sounded like he was having a ball. I believe the final was 100-66. I'm cautiously optimistic.

What a fun game!

Angelo State played with a lot of energy in the first half and played solid defense which let them keep it close. The second half was a different story all together. They couldn't handle our press, and we were really pushing the ball up the court on defensive rebounds and steals. When we get our athletic team in there and start pressing and pushing the ball, this team can play some basketball and it is fun to watch.

Sturns had some amazing plays, as did Hines. I can't wait till the next home game to see these guys play some more!

It was decent, but we have a very long way to go to be where we need to be. The fans that were there were loud, especially in the second half with all the excitement.

Dude the game was fun...the competition was pretty tight in the first half...and then BOOM... second half we went nuts....These guys are gellin...and the post game press conference courtesy of Matt McCoombs...was hilarious...Mike Jones is a B.A.!

Thanks. If I'm remembering correctly that's a healthy step up from last year's opening crowd. A little buzz about Mean Green basketball around campus can hopefully produce some pretty decent crowds this season, especially if the team puts on a good showing.

The best part is that the people who went to the game last night are likely to come back because the game was so much fun. Hopefully they will bring some friends with them too
