I would like to say that I was pleased with the performance on Saturday for the Exhib game.

The offense and defense played aggressively, and with the "fire" that we need to have on the court to get the crowd going.

It is exciting to see guys go out and give 110% for the entire time that they are on the court.

Coach Jones has done an outstanding job of building this team and this program by attracting good recruits and developing our current players.

However, I would have really liked to see Micah Bracy tackle somebody in the last 2 minutes of the game. ohmy.gif

Yeah, there's no way we run it the whole game, but if we use it like we did Saturday, to change the pace of the game, I love it. I think we have players to do it too, unlike in past years.

First, I didn't see the game, but I do think this 1-2-1-1 press could be used at times when we need to put somebody away. You know how it goes, we go on a run and the opposing team calls a timeout to regroup. Times like that I would like for them to come back out onto the court and see something completly different than what their coach just prepared them for. Go for the Kill!

I hope we push the ball a lot with Mike Jones at PF and one of our mobile big men at C. Last year year post play was one of our biggest strengths, but this year we should be able to run.
