I didn't know that.  That's hard to imagine.  He must be holding some hard feelings over something (Hank not getting the AD job?  His son's time as a player?  No idea.).

Glad to see him back in some capacity.   One could argue that he has already given the university more than it gave him; but regardless, I would love to see him back fully engaged.

Yes that was the story I heard.  Hank did not get the AD job and George turned his back on UNT after that.

I've seen Jub in multiple videos/interviews/stories about players or anniversaries over the past few years?   So I doubt he had any kind of unreconcilable animosity.
