WBB: Transfer Portal

Thought this needed a thread of its own.  So, @cousin oliver stated that most of our best players had entered the portal.  Is there any place to track this?  If he is correct, would this be Hardaway, Wooten and Deck or does it go beyond those three?

I seen it on twitter but cannot figure out how to transfer it here.

I've seen the one posted regarding Wooten, but a comment was made that our best women's players are all entering the portal and another regarding Deck.  I haven't seen anything other than the Wooten post.

I believe #14 Gwen McGrew is also in the portal.  I'm not surprised.  Her body language toward the end of the season gave a big hint that she would be leaving.  When you aren't excited that the team is winning, you probably already have one foot out the door.

Are WBB players leaving for NIL somewhere else, or are they leaving for more playing time, other issues?

Is NIL a "thing" at our level of WBB?

How about softball, volleyball.....band?   Where does it end?

Brett Vito is reporting in his article that Hardaway, Deck, Wooten, McGrew, and Duncan are all in the portal. He reported also that Johnson left towards the end of the season. I knew I didn't see her any longer, but I thought maybe injuries, but it turns out she left like Abou did a few years back. Brackens went into the portal and has since landed at Tarleton State. The only people he says that are coming back are Tac, who was injured all season, Chania Price, and Talley.

From what I can tell, she's not that good. Sets decent picks. Maybe a backup role

Here are the three puzzle pieces Burton was referring to:

Megan Nestor is the standout. Averaged over 20 PPG last year at Wayland Baptist. She is 6'4" and scored 30+ four times last year. Between her and Lidge, it appears we have replaced Lampkin and Johnson. Hopefully Talley stays, and I think we have one or two more bigs coming from high school.

Nestor had 20 rebounds and 18 points in 26 minutes.
