I am starting to feel like I trust this head coach.

Hopefully local talent will bring out more fans.

The team should jell fast...most everyone already knows each other, lol.

It's just one season.  Better to have a team with players he is familiar with to help with the transition like NT80 jokingly said.

I hope you guys aren't disrespecting Rubin.  He could have left much sooner, but stuck with the Mean Green.  I wish him luck in whatever he does next.

Starting to wonder if the roster will be able to compete in the AAC. He need the last few spots to be better

Yeah, he needs to hit homeruns with the last 5 scholarships. Right now, I only see about 12-14 wins against a comparable schedule to those in the recent past.

Just a handful of possible targets; that comes to mind:

  1. Dillon Battie, 6-8 F Temple (Lancaster, TX)
  2. TJ Caldwell, 6-4 SG Ole Miss (Oak Cliff Faith Family)
  3. Jakobe Coles, 6-8 C GCU (Denton, Tx)
  4. Eddie Lampkin Jr 6-11 C Syracuse (Houston, TX)
  5. Justin McBride, 6-7 SF Nevada (Plano, TX)
  6. Josiah Moseley, 6-8 SF Villanova (Round Rock Stony Point)
  7. Dan Thomas, 6-8 C New Mexico (Dallas Carter)
  8. Isaac Williams, 6-2 PG Corpus Christi A&M (Oak Cliff Faith Family)
  9. Doryan Onwuchekwa, 6-11 Georgia Tech (Oak Cliff Faith Family)

The misspelling of Rooobin’s name is a long running gag and not a sign of disrespect in any way.

Robin Jones is an all-time great here. I get that every team needs a 9th and 10th man, but our team also needs an alpha and a No. 2 scoring option a No. 3. I see maybe one of those guys on the current roster.

Reuben Jones was great for us but we were best when he didn't need to be a featured scoring option. Maybe it's just me but I always felt like Reubin quietly played his game and got buckets as they the open shots came available but he didn't really force it either. Would love another Riuben Jones.

Cooley, anyone from HCJC we could pick up?
