They have put spring media videos out every few days, but it’s mostly lame Vito interviews and talk, no actual video of practice.

Fans need to see some scrimmage action at the least.   Are we trying to actually “sell” tickets to this program??

Haven't seen a real scrimmage video in years, IIRC? It's all hype videos and, honestly, they're not many.

I don't care for them.  How long do people eat this up, these field-level quick shots with a soundtrack, before they realize it doesn't tell them anything about how the team is actually doing?

Gimme a birds-eye view, capturing the flow of the entire team over the course of a few plays.  So much better!

I guess it could be worse…

Tennessee’s Qb skipped practice today in a “contract dispute” over wanting more NIL.

I think their spring game is tomorrow, lol.……….

“The day before the winter portal window closed in December, sources told ESPN that Iamaleava's representatives wanted to renegotiate his deal in the $4 million range, but his deal was unchanged. He's expected to make $2.4 million with the Vols this year, sources said.

With the portal set to open Wednesday, Iamaleava's representatives were again looking for $4 million, and sources told ESPN that Tennessee "wasn't going to blink and pay him any more money."

Iamaleava, the No. 23 overall recruit in the class of 2023, signed a then-unprecedented deal with Tennessee's NIL collective in 2022, one that would pay more than $8 million over his college career, when he committed to the program.”

that's pathetic, but that is on the NCAA and Courts allowing this garbage. College Athletes unless they are entering the draft do not need an agent, much less negotiate a deal? WTF has happened to amateur sports. I hope TN balks at the demands and he walks away.

I think the lack of info is intentional. Why would we hype up a player doing well only to get him tampered with?

Agree.  That's why a lot of programs have ended public Spring Games.  Many coaches think other programs use them to shop for players at.

This is happening everywhere now. Baylor’s point guard signed a new $1M deal with their collective one week then signed a $2M deal with BYU the next week.
The House settlement won’t fix it either. That is just going to create a new mess.

Tennessee just told him to kick rocks.

That’s awesome…at least until some other jackass school gives him the $4mil he wants.

If Tennessee truly moves on from him, I’ll be hoping they win their minor league conference.

Good for Tennessee.

Of course they started the mess by giving him pro money to begin with, then the kids do what pros do...hold out for more when their agent says they are worth more.

Damn!  Who saw this coming in college sports?

Is Div 1AA football still "true college football" like in the old days?  You know, get a full athletic scholarship, play football for four years, then graduate with a degree.
