We all know that the majority of hires at UNT uses us as a stepping stone. It’s just hard to actually accept the obvious. 

Hate the Hodge plan was only 3 year. Robinson was only HC at Cleveland St for 3 years. Daughter indicates that this is the “next step”.

My old High School just hired a 33 year old who had immediate success at his previous school. He will do well and folks are already projecting his next stop.

It's hard to be a program labeled as a "stepping stone", but it's better than having to fire a coach for lack of wins.

A$M lost their coach to Maryland.  Is A$M a stepping stone?  

D-Rob had three 20-win seasons at Cleveland State before we hired him.  Cleveland State's previous coach before D-Rob only had two winning seasons before Mizzou hired him.   We must be as good a stepping stone as Mizzou.

Being a stepping stone basketball program that's playing meaningful basketball into March every year is 10x better than being a dead end like the football program not having a HC hired away in almost 50 years.

We played basketball into April for the first time ever this season!
