Some creative ways we could raise NIL monies at UNT

Me and my girlfriend have a lot of student debt and are both unfortunately unemployed at the moment (she is soon to be teaching part time this summer) so we don't have a lot of expendable income to donate to NIL.  I thought it would be fun to start a list of grassroots ideas for raising money for NIL at UNT.

1 - Car Washes - we could have players and coaches out there holding signs and offering to wash cars down on eagle drive or other busy traffic spots

2 - Raffles.  UTSA is evidently doing this a lot and we could also benefit from them.   Everyone enjoys winning a chance to go down the tunnel with the team and ride on the team plane and whatnot.

3 - Bake sales - We could get some of the cheerleaders and have a big bake sale weekend and sell everything at a football or basketball tailgate.

4 - Create a UNT NIL beer that 50% of the proceeds go to the NIL

These are just a few of my ideas.  I would be interested to hear if you all have more.

I noticed at the nutsac game last year that if you wanted to round up to the next dollar on concessions, It would go to NIL.

This all day.    You never miss the $0.45 but if it happens on 80% of the transactions, that'll add up and no one even has to think about it.    do it at every sporting event and keep the money with that particular sport.   that would also help you gauge how interested your fans were and where to put add'l NIL focus.

the hidden bonus is your opponents will occasionally donate too because they are too lazy to read the screen.

my lemonade stand got knocked over once as kid but some wild ass kid learning to ride his bike.  i was devastated, so that's out.  

 

i do like the NIL beer idea.

I’d suggest not canceling anymore home games for faculty fajita luncheons…that would probably help

As I am sure all of have noticed when dinning out that in using your credit card you are given several percentage options for adding gratuity. Perhaps something along these lines could be implemented as a way to contribute to  NIL funds for stadium purchases on the non student side or other areas deemed appropriate.
